Olman Valladarez’s father Don Luis Emilio Valladarez has been producing coffee for 66 years and is one of the most prominent figures in the history of specialty coffee in Nicaragua. Don Olman and his family specialize in superior quality specialty coffee with replicable state of the art processing systems, providing consistency at scale. The Valladarez family is the largest producer of the Maracaturra in the world, a variety that is considered the jewel of Nicaragua.
The Valladarez family produces coffee across their 10 farms in Nicaragua, 9 of which are in Nueva Segovia and 1 in Madriz. All their coffees are dry processed at their mill Buenos Aires, named after Don Luis Emilio’s first coffee farm near the border with Honduras. The Valladarez family’s coffees are well recognized across the world and their dedication to outstanding quality have earned them many awards, including multiple Cup of Excellence placings and 1st Place in 2015.
